I crushed my children while playing it so that added to the fun. Although the children enjoyed playing the game, I am not sure it compares with XBOX and all the gadgets the children have today. To me it will always be a classic. Rating: - The new, smaller battling tops gameI got this game for my birthday in the late 1960's. My friends and I all loved playing it. My husband had the original one, but most of the pieces were missing. It was over 35 years old. So I surprised him by getting this game and he loved it. Rating: - Battling Tops Game - A blast from the past!!This game is great!!! TOTALLY LOVED IT!! It brought back such good memories from mine & my husbands childhood. Now it is around again and making new memories for my 10 yr. old child, who loves it as well. The trick is to pull the string nice and easy and it works great every time. Thank you for having this game available. I would definitely buy it again and give it as a gift!! Unfortunately, because of his difficulty winding the string, this game was more than a disappointment for us. I also tried and failed more than half the time to get them spinning. I went looking for wind-up tops to use on the stage area that works much better (at a dollar a piece, they saved the day!) If your child has any kind of motor planning problem, fine motor difficulty, ... Read More |
