![]() Rating: - My Reviw Of KotOR 2 (Lightside and Male Character)**WARNING** This Review Contains Some Spoilers!! KotOR 2 The Sith Lords, Despite being one of the most sad games youll ever play, is extraordinarily great despite being rushed out the door. It says that your character from the previous game went missing and its all depressing because instead of Thinking you lived happily ever after and had little revans with bastila, Your character is Presumed dead. It also took to long and the opportunities to get influence ... Read More Rating: - Lots of fun, not lots of SWThis game is incredibly fun. It does everything the first did, but better and deeper. New everything, conversations are as great as ever. Story is debatably a tad worse, but that is definitely a matter of opinion not a matter of fact. The place where it stumbles, however, is in its faithfulness to the lore. It gives it a brief friendly hug, but it doesn't embrace it the way it should. There are many parts that will leave you going "wtf?" and scrambling to try and find logic there. I'll ... Read More Rating: - Deep, Interesting, Fun GameThe biggest thing I did not like about this game was trying to play it the second time through. Much of what I did was an exact repeat of before, just because the plot must advance the way it does. It just seems like, with such a complex game, they could have made more variety in it. But that's not a big drawback - certainly the first KOTOR did not have nearly as much variety as this one. The second biggest thing was that there weren't as many puzzles as in the first KOTOR - but I'm a math major and ... Read More Rating: - Great RPG even if you're not a big RPG fanI've never been a big fan of RPG games before but since I was looking for something completely different, I figured this would work. Took a chance and it paid off. I didn't give it 5 stars because the graphics aren't that good and it's got some hard things that you need to do. If you're a first time playing this type of game it might be hard for you (as it is for me). I rather enjoy the game, it's a bit more challanging for me since I don't normally play RPG games so I'm sure others whom ... Read More Rating: - A decent sequelNot quite as good as the first KOTOR, but still worth buying especially at this price. The game was ported directly from the xbox like the first game but where as the first one was tweaked to take advantage of the PC, this one is pretty much ported directly over with no changes made. Because of this there are some glitches (especially if your using Vista, I had to replace my Mss32.dll file to get the game to load. And I had some issues with the video cutting out during cut scenes, had to ... Read More |
