![]() Rating: - Great first Toy!This puppy was a gift to my daughter when she was three months old. the age suggestions say 6 mos + but she loved the puppy right away. Now when we go to the toy store, everytime she sees the puppy on the shelf her face lights up, she smiles and starts kicking her legs! I usually put it in the car for her to play with. I place it at the edge of her carseat resting on the seat of the car so she can kick it and make it talk/sing/laugh whatever. A really great toy. Beware: you will have kid's songs ... Read More Rating: - Makes my daughter cryThis is a horrible toy. My two year old daughter got it as a birthday gift from her godfather, who bought it because of the fantastic reviews. It arrived broken -- one of the paw pad sensors doesn't work unless you squeeze it just right, with two fingers. In the past Fisher Price has given me fantastic service, so I'm sure they'll take care of that problem when I get around to calling. The really terrible thing about this puppy is that when you hit a sensor, the toy stops whatever it ... Read More Rating: - ard to maintain attentionThis is an incredibly cute toy. My 2 yr old got it as a present at 18 months and thinks it's very cute, but it doesn't hold his interest very long. My major beef with it's too easy to press a body part by hugging it or moving it around. For toddlers who like to touch and move things and not just sit, watch, and listen until a song is over, it's a problem. You press its paw, it sings, and then when your toddler ends up hugging it, or wanting to play with it in different ways, he activates other body ... Read More Rating: - annoying! This dog is so annoying! my daughter (9 months) likes it ok, but is easily distracted away from it; and the darn thing drives me crazy! it won't stop talking, even if you press the button on the foot to off mode. if you turn it off on the batary case inside the velcro closure, it will obviously turn off though. the button in the ear won't work either. i just think that there are much better things out there that you could spend your money on. just my opinion. Rating: - Love, love, love it!My son has loved this puppy since he was only a few weeks old (he is now 9 months). He loves the singing...it always puts a smile on his face, and he loves squeezing the different parts to make sounds (loves the cause/effect). The only thing is the ear doesn't work anymore. But, I think it's because the little one chewed on it too much and broke it. Anyway, it's still a great toy and he's had so much fun with it! |
