 Rating:  - Great DI box for non powered acoustic pick upsGreat DI box...A little touchy but smooth sounding, We use it for our seymore duncan no powered block pickups and is awsome for that. Have ran vocals through it live and is almost over powering but a tweak or 2 and bam! Smooth vocals..Should cost 4x as much. Buy it it's only a few bucks. You wont be disappointed. Rating: - Excellent for PriceAs a broke college student I couldn't afford much to go along with my protools rig but I wanted a tube preamp to add just that extra warmth in my home recordings. and for the $30 i spent it was worth it. Of course if you can afford to spend $75 or $150 by all means do so. The tube is so small in this thing and my only major complaint is there is no On/Off switch you ahve to unplug and plug everytime. but overall, if you're on a budget or just experimenting its worth it. Read More Rating: - I loved it, but it died ~5 months laterI loved it for recording. I had a sm58, but it just didn't have enough gain on my tascam USB-224 audio interface. So I bought a MXL V63M condenser mic and the Tube MP pre-amp. Great sounding combination, really helped to improve my recording quality. Bought it 11/24/07. Last night (04/17/08), I went to use it and -- no power! Bummer. Now, I have to check if it is under warranty and see about a replacement.
