Rating: - Nice Bread Box
When I ordered this bread box, I knew from other reviews that it was not a "true" red, but ordered it anyway. They were right, it has a slightly pinkish cast but we are enjoying it anyway. It will fit two loaves of bread and you can squeeze a little something else inside, but it is not as big as it looks.

Rating: - Great Solution for Counter Clutter!
I am quite happy with my new red bread box. It rolls very easily and is nice and roomy. I have two loaves of bread and a package of English muffins in there right now and nothing is getting squashed. It looks soooo much neater than all that clutter on the counter. I have all red small appliances (toaster oven, microwave, crockpot, etc.) and I do have to agree that this is not a true red...it's more of a faded tomato-red. I don't really need my accent pieces to match exactly, so I'm satisfied. However ... Read More

Rating: - Great breadbox!
I love the red breadbox - it looks great on my countertop. It really brightens it up. I'm so glad I didn't buy the stainless steel box, which was my first thought. It holds quite a bit, too. I recommend it.

Rating: - Box nice but not a true red
Box quality is good. Slide action of roll top door nice. Surprisingly roomy. BUT....this is not a true red. It is a deep salmon color. It does not match the other red counter-top appliances we have at all which are a deeper red. Next to those it looks too pink. If you don't have other red appliances, you might not notice it. I'm going to cast it back and go for black.
