GPS Acreage lets you calculate acreage for an area that could be any size or shape using your PDA and GPS. Since V2.7 you can now also plot a outline map of the area you measured. See new screen image for example. If your GPS is NMEA compliant and you have the cables to connect it to your Palm, then GPS Acreage can read the coordinates directly from the GPS. Otherwise you can manually enter the coordinates via the Palm stylus and still be able to use GPS Acreage. Acreage data is displayed as : - Acres - Hectare - Morgen - Square Foot - Square Yard - Square Mile - Square Meter - Square Kilometer In addition Acreage also offer the following powerfull features: - Land area to be measured can be any size or shape. - The software also incorporates an "odometer" that displays the total traversed distance. (Not just point-to-point distance.) - Shows the circumference of the perimeter. - The ability to export results to the PalmOS notepad - The ability to export GPS raw data (Latitude, Longitude, Easting & Northing (in meters), so that it can be manupilated on a PC. - The option to interface directly with your GPS, or enter coordinates manually via stylus. - If you do not own a GPS you can also read the co-ordinates from a map and enter it manually into GPS Acreage.
