Rating: - Removable Foreman GrillIt's great if you want your meat to come out steamed. The first unit I got had a problem with the heater. It was exchanged with another unit. The new unit worked better but was still not grilling the meat the way I wanted it to so I went and purchased another George Foreman grill that had non removable plates. We were very disappointed with the GRP99. As other reviewers have pointed out: * the grill takes much longer to heat up * the grill takes much longer to cook food * cooked meat does not have the grilled appearance - not seared, etc. * the plates do not fasten securely to the shell * the heated area is small compared to the grill size After trying it once we returned ... Read More Rating: - BewareI got this grill as gift a long time ago and it worked fine. Except for the fact that it doesn't close well over thick meat therefore is has uneven cooking. My top grill plate fell off twice recently for no apparent reason. So be careful when buying this grill. the handles are not constructed well enough to handle alot use. Im searching for a new grill. |
