 Rating:  - Nice equipment, nice price!My hubby and I are building some lawn furniture, and it is so nice to be able to bevel the edges of the boards for comfort with this planer! This is the second piece of Bosch equipment we've purchased and the quality is excellent. Don't be afraid of the refurbished - we couldn't tell this one from new when opened. It has a nice hardshell plastic case for storage too. Rating:  - Not for doorsWhat I should say is: It is not for a door expert. The planer is great but the bevel guide adjusts in the opposite direction from most "door" planers. This is a problem because if you have the door on a saw horse, you will have to flip the door over to get the bevel going the correct way. Also then your marks would be on the opposite side if you mark on the high side. Otherwise is very nicely made. Rating: - Great Price, Excellent toolHaven't had one problem and the fact it is refurbished means what was going to fail did and it was replaced. Rating: - A very good planerThis is my first planer purchase and am very satisfied with it.Bosch made a great/easy to use tool. |
