Read More Rating:  - A '10' For What I Was Looking ForMy Omega Juicer Model 8005 is an excellent machine, indeed. Not too pricey, easy to wash and functions very well. Just perfect for home use. We are really enjoying the juice and the daily ritual as well. The juicer was shipped and delivered as promised. Although it arrived with one of the parts cracked, the manufacturer shipped the replacement part in 2 days. I will definitely give a '10' for this product. Rating: - Does a great job with fruit, despite what you might read elsewhereI'd read many places that compared to centrifugal juicers, masticating juicers like this are better at juicing less "juicy" stuff like leafy vegetables but worse at juicing fruit. Don't believe it! I've owned both the basic Omega centrifugal juicer and the pulp-ejecting centrifugal version, and this 8005 model (which is the only one I use now) I believe does as good a job on fruit as those other models. It works by rotating something in the middle, that pushes and grinds the vegetables against the grating, to a point where the juice and pulp are separated.
