 Rating:  - Not recommended for unatteded operationThis machine only operates in auto mode when the VOA switch is activated. When the VOA switch is disengaged the machine has to be manually operated. In Auto mode the machine stops and starts too much losing much of the conversation. I would only recommend this machine for manual operation Rating:  - Great UnitThe P5045 Telephone Recorder is a very good unit for the money. It records both sides of a telephone conversation with good clarity. What is really great about this unit is the simple hook up. Just plug it into a vacant phone jack and set the unit to VOX and press the record button and it starts recording as soon as the phone is answered. It also cuts off as soon as the call has ended. It uses only one wire from the jack to the recorder if using 2 AA batteries (not included) so you don't have a bunch ... I would have sent it back, but it's more hassle to repack and go through the aggravation than it is worth. If you are thinking of buying this - don't. |
