The Soleus Air FTA-20 8-inch desktop fan has three speeds, each quiet enough not to be distracting. A folding support foot allows the FTA-20 to stand close by on a desk or table for immediate heat relief; when folded, the fan can fit in a large file drawer for easy storage. The FTA-20 table fan has a modern look to it, with a curved, teardrop shape that slopes down from the built-in carrying handle. It's built of heavy-duty silver plastic and has blue-gray detailing. When folded up for storage, the blue support foot lies up against the fan grill and locks in gently; it pivots back to create the standing base. A row of crescent-shaped buttons on the front of the fan allow for speed selection. The power cord is 5 feet long, allowing some flexibility to reach the nearest accessible outlets. Always unplug fan before cleaning; use a soft cloth, dry or only slightly moistened, and towel or allow to air dry afterward. Do not allow water to drip on or enter fan housing. The 115-volt Soleus Air FTA-20 desktop fan measures 10-3/4 by 13-1/2 by 6-1/2 inches, with an 8-inch fan head. Rating: - Nice fan but not silentWas looking for something to go in the bedroom. The lowest speed still yields noise. The motor may be silent, the fan isn't. It is a big fan - not desktop size.
