![]() Rating: - This kitchen rocks! We bought this kitchen for my daughter's 2nd birthday, and couldn't be happier. It really does take about 2 hours and a lot of concentration to put together, but it is worth it. (Two pieces were damaged when we received it, but when we called the manufacturer, the shipped out new ones immediately with no hassle). I highly recommend this kitchen over the plastic ones; this will last much longer. It is the perfect size for our daughter and there is lots of room to grow into it too. She plays with ... There's nothing flimsy about this kitchen, very sturdy & made well, holding up well to the various experiments carried out by the kids. The "fridge", "microwave" & "oven" have deep shelves, holds the miscellaneous accessories & more. Fairly easy to assemble, not too heavy, easy to relocate. I'm not a fan of the colors, but that has not stopped the little ... I'd read that this one was easier to assemble. I knew I would be doing it on my own because my partner would be out of town. I have never used power tools before. It actually wasn't bad. It was frustrating at first, but the first step is much harder than most of the rest of the assembly. The directions can be difficult to interpret, which led to the foundation piece ... He doesn't mind, and he takes great pleasure "cooking" in it. It is nice and durable, and I assembled it by myself for Christmas while Dad was deployed, without any trouble at all. It's our third kitchen, but only our first wooden kitchen. It's worth every penny, the shipping was prompt and easy, and I think it will be a keeper for the future as well. Rating: - Great purchaseMy child loves this kitchen set and plays with it nearly every day. Hight quality, good size. We also got the blender, coffee maker and mixer sets to go with it. It took my husband about 6 hours to put it together. Our friend got the same on and said it took her 7 hours. It also has a strong odor when you first take it out of the box and put it together - had to air it out for a few days before the smell went away. Great purchase - I think our child will continue to use it for years to come. |
