 Rating:  - Great light!!I love this light. I have had it for a few years and it works wonderfully. I use it by my bed for reading and it illuninates most of the room. The light is bright and makes reading so easy. I have an adjustable be and I can swivel the light so that I can get it in the right position, depending on how I have my bed. I never want another one. Rating:  - Bell & Howell Floor LampThe lamp provides exceptional light. This is my second purchase of this same floor lamp (the other is over a year old), as I wanted one upstairs as well. When first assembled, however, the lamp would not work. It would remain on for only a few seconds, only to go off. When we tapped the bulb, it would go on, again for only a few seconds. Ultimately, it stopped working, period. I sent an e-mail to the vendor. I never heard back. My husband ultimately removed the bulb and re-inserted it. It ... Read More Rating:  - Cheaply madeAs others have said, this is a very poorly made lamp. It broke even as I was trying to assemble it. Now I have to spend time and energy trying to return the thing. Rating: - Bell&Howell Reading Lamp is Junk, Only lasts for 2-3 yearsThe Bell and Howell reading lamp is made in China. We bought one and it only lasted 2-3 years. We thought the fluorescent lamp went out on it so we bought a replacement bulb but that wasn't it. We tried replacing the ballast and that didn't work either. This lamp while it provides good reading light is CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP. Works for awhile and then fills up our landfill. Its a good lamp if you don't mind having to replace it every few years. Rating: - ExcellentI highly recommend the Bell & Howell Sunlight Lamp. Not only does it provide better quality lighting, it is much more economical to use. I love the lamp's features...I have three of them. |
