I recently installed this product in my eight year old Honda CRV-SE as a step in soundproofing along with two 'bulk packs' (9 sheets each) of Dynamat Extreme. I cut the 'Extreme' into shaped pieces to fit the flat areas on the underside of my hood, then filled all of the hollow chambers of the criss-cross reinforcement with Great Stuff expanding foam.
