This is a cute item, but it was much larger than it appeared. Without the bale, it is 1" in diameter and with the bale it is roughly 1 1/2". That is bigger than I wanted, so I am returning it. The chain is also kind of cheap, but to be expected for $30.

I also purchased the Medana pendant watch #2332 so I would have one in silver tone, one in gold tone. The review for that watch is the same as this one. I have worn pendant watches for years as they are wonderful for traveling-you can tuck them into your blouse for added safety. And during the summer they don't leave a mark on your wrist from the sun as wristwatches can do. I bought my first pendant watches in Swizterland years ago. These watches are even more attractive. The watch is bulky and heavy. It is not flimsy; however its antique-greenish dial, thick rope chain and bright yellow finish make it look anything but expensive-looking.
To be fair, I don't know anything about the technical characteristics of it. The company was quick to refund me cost, too.
