For about one year, the CTA Digital DB-NB4L held a fair amount of charge and I could use it for about 1/2 the photo shots that I could with the Canon OEM NB-4L battery. So far it works fine, just like the original cannon battery. It charges good, I didn't time it to see how long but plugged it in, and let it run its course. I bought another kind of replacement as well and cannot tell the difference between it, this one, and the original. So it gets two thumbs up!
