Editorial Review:

Amazon.com Product Description:
The GenTran one-circuit generator transfer switch is designed for generators up to 6,250 watts. This switch keeps any 50 Amp 120-volt circuit running with a portable generator during an outage. This compact transfer switch comes prewired and installs next to your load center indoors. It includes generator and utility breakers mechanically interlocked, offset fitting, lock nuts, wire connectors and a 50 Amp 120-volt 3-wire power inlet for easy generator connection. The ground post is incorporated into the enclosure, and three combination 1/2- and 3/4-inch knockouts are provided on the sides and back for easy wiring in minutes. When the utility power shuts off, connect a power cord from generator to the inlet on the transfer switch and start the generator. Switch the "utility" breaker off, slide over the interlock, and switch the "generator" breaker on. When utility power is restored, simply do the reverse, shut down and store your generator. This transfer switch comes with a 2-year limited warranty.
