![]() Rating: - Greatest WWII game I have ever playedThis game is awsome. The game has all of the qualities that a gamer can look foward to in a WWII game. There are a lot of weapons to choose from along with great graphics, and many maps. You can actually depend on your teamates in this game. O.K., I admit that they are not the best distance shooters, but they are very good at close combat. For example, there was a time when an American soldier meleed a German to the ground and the American just kept on shooting the German to make sure that he was ... Honestly, I play games for fun and entertainment, not to be overly challenged to the point of frustration. (Real life is frustrating enough, I want games that are fun to play!) If you are looking for a great WWII game that is done well but is done in such as way as to be managable to play, COD 2 is for you. I have the "collectors edition" which comes in a silver case and includes interviews from the real men who served in the Big ... Its as if all XBOX games are crippled with this problem (Tom Clancy Splinter Cell is another example). Instead of being able to move forward, you end up playing the same level over and over again. Its just too fustrating. Here's how it works, every time you die in the game you start all over from the last check point. This system works fine for games like Halo since ... The more I played it, the more respect gained for those who fought the actual battles. Approaching the beach in the landing craft gives one a sense (though nowhere near that of the real experience) of what these guys actually charged into...amazing. This game requires strategy, planning and a lot of attention. Amazing environments and realism. Looking forward to #3. I like games that capture me right away, and this didnt live up to that. I thought maby it would get better and found out that not only did it stay kinda monotoned but it was really short. The game difficulty dosnt seem to get any harder either. The last level is extreemly easy!! and it seemed like I had a lot of confidence walking through the levels, you never get that blinking red ... Read More |
