A 12-ounce can of beer or soda fits securely in the stand's center (which protrudes into the bird's cavity), while the circular wire base spans a wire grill more securely than individual "feet" and supports a chicken up to four pounds in weight. The chicken can be cooked on this rack in a variety of ways: on a charcoal grill, gas grill, or inside an oven. Reusable and dishwasher-safe, the ChickCan rack measures seven inches in diameter and five inches high, and makes a novel gift for the outdoor chef. Instructions included with the rack make the process easy. Basically, the can is half emptied and seasonings such as Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and minced garlic are added. When heated, the liquid creates a fragrant steam that keeps the chicken moist. The neck of the bird should be closed with either a potato or onion to prevent the moisture from escaping. After one to two hours of cooking, the bird and rack should be lifted off the heat very carefully with a fork and tongs and allowed to cool.  Rating: - Good Product, Bad price!This is a good simple product. Works well! However, it is overpriced, you can buy it at your local Wal Mart for under $5 bucks. Rating: - Excellent ProductThe Chick Can Rack is a fantastic product. No more trying to balance a chicken on a can on a grill or in the oven. I put the Rack in a pie plate and use either beer (preferred) or soda. The chicken is sooooo moist and tender and flavorful. My family considers it a delicious treat when I use the Rack. Congratulations on such an affordable and useful product. I recommend it highly!!! Rating: - Great productI have tried to cook chicken on the grill for years with little success. It's always dry, tasteless and usually burnt. I have had this product for 2 summers now and love to cook chicken with it. The chicken comes out moist, tender and with a great flavor. It's so easy too. I have varied ingredients in the can from cola products, wine, beer. Beer and BBQ sauce, wine and fresh herbs. It ALWAYS turns out with crisp skin, and so very tasty.
