![]() Rating: - Amazing GameSpartan was a game that was under-appreciated. While It's Graphics were a Sad PS2 port, the story was very well written. If You like fighting tons of people a la Dynasty Warriors, but with a better story, then this is the Game for You. This game is one that should be in alot of people's collections. The game mixes actual historic figures (such as Crassus, Tiberius, and Sejanus) with mythical ones (such as Castor, Pollux, and Medusa) without much regard to historical fact. This would be fine except that I have come to expect a lot more from CA. The game should be entitled Spartan: Total Anachronism. Read More Rating: - Repetitive GameplayPrevious reviewers have hit most of the major descriptive points: lots of warriors, average graphics, simplistic objectives, etc. But one thing I think needs to be stressed is the *repetitive* nature of this game. You will find yourself seemingly fighting the same battle over and over and over again, sometimes because you died but mostly because there just isn't any variety in the game play.
