Rating:  - His rocket finally cameJason Mraz's style has always been contemporary rock with a little bit of hip-hop flavor. That made for good songs AND bad songs, however; while he could score on tracks like "The Remedy" and "Curbside Prophet", he fell flat on "Too Much Food". He has. This album is so complex, so energizing and peaceful, with brilliant lyrics and even better music. You can tell he has thought about every single word and note, and every song leaves me with a smile. I have told all of my friends to buy this album, even if they have never heard him. I am also fond of "Geek in the Pink." Jason is great at writing funny and smart lyrics. He can also sing different styles of music like a champ. Can't wait for the next record to come out. |
