Amazon.com:
This wants desperately to be an Airplane-like parody of inner-city African American gangsta movies. Instead, it offers us more turkey than we would find at any Thanksgiving spread. Unfunny, stereotypical, stupid, and crass, it was cowritten by Marlon and Shawn Wayans, both of whom should have known better. The two fare better as actors than writers, as they are almost amusing as hardened, dimwitted homeboys. As Ashtray, Shawn returns to his 'hood and hooks up with his best buddy (Marlon) before the two embark on a series of oh-so-wacky adventures. Siblings Keenen Ivory, Kim, and Craig Wayans also make appearances. If you really want a laugh, watch Booty Call. --Rochelle O'Gorman

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Silly As Silly Gets
This movie is for those who enjoy slapstick or have a real silly side. If you don't have that urban sense of humor, you probably won't like this movie.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Only if you're a Fan of Gangsta rap, etc.
If you're not a fan of old school gangsta rap & hood films. This movie isn't up your alley b/c there isn't anything intelletual about it's satire & humor. You could appreciate the acting performances especially the Wayan's brothers & I guess the whole black stereotype in general but if you ain't down wit that then...it sucks. Personally it's an easy watch b/c it's short like all comedies (the average 2 hour movie length weighs on me to watch movies on a consistent basis, I have my phases but that's ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Scary Movie in da Hood
After watching the featurettes on this, and finding out this a parody of hood movies like "menace to society" and "Boyz in da hood" etc... well, I gotta admit, I have never seen those movies. But this movie may be parodying those films, but the comedy of this movie is good enough that you do not even need to have seen those movies to have a good laugh at this film.

Even tho I haven't seen anything it's parodying, I still give it 4 stars for being funny as hell.

The Wayans brothers ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great spoof movie.
If your going to do a spoof movie, you have to have the Wayans in it. Taking a lot of In Living Color humor into spoofing all the 90's black movies is great. Menace II Society, Dead Presidents, Poetic Justice, Boyz N the Hood, Higher Learning and more are all lampooned. Very Funny

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great movie!!!
This is a great comedy and I would recommended it to anyone who likes to have a good laugh.
