![]() Rating: - Don't use pods - They're a rip offI love my senseo - but I also like the convenience of using whatever coffee I want in it. Since I don't like ordering coffee online and paying shipping, I was reduced to figuring out how to make my own pods. All you have to do is buy regular sized (4 cup) filters, and cut them down with scissors until their circumference is 5 and a half inches across. You can cut about 10 at a time. I love the Melitta coffee pods (that I bought off of Ebay) and I am going to try the Java Podz next. My parents like the Melitta coffee pods also (It was a better taste, my favorite so far ... It's not great coffee, but neither is the $2 a cup stuff from Dunkin Donuts. Yes, the machine is loud while making coffee, but I don't care. It's not like it's loud for 20 minutes! I see it as a way to tell when my coffee is ready to drink. For maintenance, I wipe it down every day, prime it once a week on Mondays, and give ... Read More |
