This is my first venture with family tree software, so I have nothing to compare it to. That said. I believe that FamilyTreeMaker needs some enhancing. With the Collector's Edition, I received a year subscription to [...] which is a real money saver. A great feature. I love the search feature on the software so that I can automatically search the web for my ancestors on others' trees.
