The radio-controlled clock regularly resets, adapting to changes in time zone and daylight savings time. With moon, tide, and barometric pressure gauges, the weather station also comes with forecasting capabilities. On a LCD screen, the weather station displays time in 12- or 24- hour format. An alarm alerts sleeping users, while the snooze function enables extra shut-eye. A radio tower icon flashes onscreen when receiving time updates. The station monitors indoor temperatures ranging from 14.2 to 139.8 degrees F and humidity levels from 1 to 99 percent. Celsius readings are also available. Icons for twelve different moon phases follow changes in the night sky, while tide levels are described as low, medium, or high. Using the barometric air pressure data, the system depicts its forecasts with graphics for the next 12 to 20 hours. A perpetual calendar recalls annual important dates. For outdoor conditions, an included TX4U sensor communicates at a 433.92MHz frequency from up to 80 feet. The sensor registers temperatures ranging from -22 to +157.8 degrees F and humidity levels from 1 to 99 percent. The unit also recalls minimum and maximum readings for indoor and outdoor humidity percentages and temperatures. Place the freestanding weather station up to further than six feet from the projection surface. Users adjust the brightness and focus for the most legible presentation. Constant projection is possible with the use of the AC adapter. Five enclosed AA batteries power this system. The station is covered by a limited one-year warranty. The monitor measures 7-1/4 by 4-1/4 by 2-1/4 inches. This item weighs 1-4/5 pounds upon shipping. --Jessica Reuling Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - Projection feature is super but it took a little time to set upI like this product, particularly the projection of the correct time and outside temperature on the ceiling. I found the Barometric Pressure Tendency Arrow Forecast not to be very accurate (predictive) many times. At $45 it is worth it but not at list price. The radio-controlled clock is accurate and a very useful feature, as are the indoor and outdoor humidity and temperature readings. There are many functions that, at present, I don't make use of such as the dual zone and snooze alarm functions. ... Read More Rating: - Great weather stationThis product is great, it does exactly what I was looking for. A bonus with the time and temp on the ceiling. I purchased this on a lighting deal. It is great at that price. I would not have purchased at original price with the features it has. Rating: - Weather Channel WS-9031 TWCThis weather station gives yo a lot of information but the manual on how it operates is a little complicated. The inside temperature is clearly off about 2 degrees. The outside temperature and humidity is pretty accurate. Do not waste your time using the stick on tape for the remote as it will not hold very long. Rating: - Display not visible during dayThe weather features and projection worked as expected. I wanted to use it as a replacement for my bedside alarm clock. The display is only visible with the backlight on so it was useless as a clock during the daytime. I prefer a visible clock. Rating: - Great inexpensive weather stationTo get straight to the point - it does everything I wanted out of a weather station. It tells you the outside and inside temperature and humidity, has a clock, shows the day/date, shows the moon phases, and the weather trend. There are other features that I don't use but some people may: projects time/temp on the ceiling at night, has an alarm built in, has the ability to take temperature/humidity from multiple remote sensors, and keeps track of max/min temperature and the date/time it was ...
