![]() Rating: - Awesome Space Game Ever MadeX3 Combo package Review: "I ordered the COMBO package which is suppose to be X3 v1.0 and X3 v2.0 - because as this was going to be a collectors item for me. I received 2 of the very same package and game. Instead of what the purchase was intended to be like the description it said. So basically I bought the same game twice. Maybe someone in the ordering and packaging was not paying attention or something, So I am Upset" Read More Rating: - Great gameGreat game. I've been playing as a trader, and the dynamic economy is excellent. You aren't able to continually run between two or three places, as in some other games (Freelancer). I haven't played the story much, but from what I've read it sounds a lot like the story in Freelancer. If you were to play this as a solely a space combat game, however, it might get a little old. Your career is up to you. Get this game if you like space sims, less arcadey than other ... As for the game itself, it feels like kind of a cross between a game like Freelancer (mission-based combat with lots of opportunity for trading-runs for profit) and a classic "build an empire"-type game. The controls and UI do leave a bit to be desired (a common flaw in European ... Read More Rating: - kind of like a Rubick's CubeThis may be a great game. I have no idea. All I know is I just spent an entire day (and the following morning) attempting to learn its most basic elements of play. I'm lost. Utterly lost. I have absolutely no idea what's going on, and worse, I have no idea what I should be doing differently in order to improve my gameplay. I could check online forums & newsgroups... but.. should I have to? I'm an experienced gamer... I've played tons of complicated games, ... Read More |
