Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Well, It Worked Until...
I used it for charging my cel and my camera batteries in Israel... until I blew it trying to charge a laptop. PAY ATTENTION TO THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE! Nothing over 50 watts or you'll fry it. It'll overheat, but it won't create a puff of smoke like some of the other products I've been reading about.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - did not work from day 1
The first time I plugged this particular converter into the socket for use - the light illuminated for a few minutes and never again after that. It is totally non functional...

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - This was too heavy and didn't work well
I bought this to charge up my daughter's iPod during our trip to the UK. It almost burned out the iPod. It is also very heavy and bulky and you probably will have to use an adapter too which makes it even more cumbersome. Not a recommended buy as far as I am concerned.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Jensen European 50-Watt Travel Converter
I found that this converter was very affordable and suited my needs. One drawback to the converter is that sometimes I need to use an additional adapter with the converter because the entry port for the electrical outlet is very recessed releative to the wall and the converter body blocks the full entry into the outlet(despite the fact that the electric prongs were correct for the country). This is an unusual design feature for electrical outlets in certain countries/hotels, compared to US electrical ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Worked really well in Germany
I just went to Germany for a week, so I purchased this converter. I used it to charge my Nintendo DS, Cell Phone and Camera. Keep in mind that Germany uses 220 volts and not all products can run off that voltage. So before you buy this product, check that the items you are going to use specify that they run on 110 volts and less than or equal to 50 watts. If want to charge your labtop, then you probably don't need this item. You just need an adapter, but again, make sure to check the power requirements. ... Read More
