They worked perfectly. I ended up not needing to sell my home, but now I have them in my backyard lighting up a rock wall. They give GREAT accent lighting. After one year the plastic cover of the solar panel was completely opaque; no sunlight could penetrate the plastic cover so the batteries could not recharge.
