When I first got the unit I connected it up and it worked fine. When I tried to disconnect the unit from the back of my GPS, it broke. Read More Rating: - It's ok.This external antenna certainly helped me with my Garmin i2 model, which has been discontinued by Garmin. The GPS I have fails to acquire satellite whenever it is cloudy, under bridges, or in downtowns with high rise buildings like in Chicago downtown. But, when I had this connected, it didn't lose the satellite. The satellite acquisition also was faster when I had this connected to my i2. |
