 Rating:  - How do they do itThis is a backup battery and I am amazed at how use you can get from a charge and the shelf life. I believe this is the only battery that will fit my D-300, but it does not matter. This is the one for me. Rating: - Always nice to have an extra battery!I recommend that anyone who takes a lot of photos and likes to travel gets a second battery to have on hand. Rating: - Excellent price, best batteryI have tried a number of 3rd party cheapo batteries, and they just don't meet the standards that Nikon set with the original. Don't bother with eBay knock-offs, they can damage your camera and don't have the stamina. I have a Nikon D200 with a VR lens, so I can sometimes go through 3 of these batteries in a day (long double shoots) and can tell you the cheapo versions just don't hold up.
