All they have to have is the free Adobe pdf reader found on adobe's website. It also allows you to convert pdf's back into word documents, or just lets you type in the pdf itself. One of the most useful tools it has is "scanning to pdf" so you can scan in a 14 page contract, and it's ready to go as one email, instead of having 14 different attachments. ...
