 Rating:  - Could Last a LifetimeI purchased a Sylvania Silver on June 7, 2006 (over two years ago at the time of this review) and it's still going strong on the same set of batteries! My wife and I decided to place the unit above our shower stall due to the minimal light available in the area. Although we hardly use it daily, it gets reasonable use and possibly abuse due to the fact that it probably wasn't designed for such an area. Rating: - Great accent lightingIn case you're wondering whether or not this is for you, this should help. These are great for ACCENT LIGHTING, not bright work lights. They contain daylight LED "bulbs," so they're bluish in color, not a warm yellowish light. I happen to have blue tile countertops in my kitchen, so I bought them to accent some of the wall decorations on one side of the kitchen. For that use they're perfect. Read More Rating: - Sylvania Dot-it Self Adhesive Bright White LEDWas expecting a lot more from these. The purpose of my purchase was to add additional light to a bi-fold door closet. Found I needed at least 6 of them in a 23" w 7'3" h section of the closet to provide minimal light at best. Rating:  - Bright idea, not bright lightPerfect idea and have so many places to use it, but the light is just not bright enough. More of an accent light if anything. |
