The smashing success of Millan's National Geographic Channel series is due partly to that feeling of relief--that no matter how bad your own dog's behavior, by and large, it's not nearly as bad as Millan's clients'; it's kind of like Nanny 911, but with dogs. Millan is also a telegenic, confident animal handler, whose basic message is reinforced in virtually every case: Don't treat your dog like a human; treat him like a dog, and be the alpha dog of your own household/pack.  Rating:  - Worth It!If you are on the fence about getting a dog or know that you are getting a dog, Cesar is your guy. If you have a dog and and think that you have bitten off more than you can chew in having a dog, Cesar is your guy. He explains why dogs are the way they are and how to lead them. Rating:  - Wonderful way to see the episodes again for specific problemsLove to be able to review past episodes as each time one sees it one can see more things once you see the energy change in Cesar to match the dogs energy Great reference DVD matched with his book "Dog Whisperer with Cesar Milan" an index guide relating a behaviour problem with a specific episode. Louise Rating: - InterestingWas never sure of this concept but was interested in the concept so checked out this book. Had some insights that were intiquing but still need more convincing. This is a well written book tho and worth looking at. Rating: - a must for dog ownersA must for responsible dog owners-a really excellent primer on canine behaviors and how to respond to those behaviors Rating: - Our dog is greatWe purchased this after we took on the responsibility of a rather large dog our daughter could no longer care for. We decided if we were going to have a dog (no matter what size) it would be obdient. These dvd's are so helpful and we are so proud of our dog. We walk her and so many people make comments about her behavior and of course we tell them about the Dog Whisperer DVD's. Consistency is the key.
