Editorial Review: Product Description: Milwaukee's Heavy-Duty 34° 15 gauge Angle Finish Nailer has an ultra lightweight magnesium housing to minimize fatigue. Its ergonomic grip and balance combined with its compact size offers great control and maneuverability. Its reload indicator is a rare feature in an angle finish nailer and is important in preventing missing nails in trim work. The textured selectable trigger lets you choose sequential or contact actuation by simply turning a knob. The rear-loading magazine with a bypass pusher allows quick loading and unloading of fasteners. The easy load magazine holds 106 nails in 1 in. to 2-1/2 in. lengths. The self-cleaning air filter extends life by preventing dirt and debris from entering the tool. The adjustable air deflector with muffler directs exhaust away from the work area and holds down the noise. An adjustable and removable belt hook provides convenience for carrying. The tool-free depth of drive adjustment provides precise depth control. A tool-free jam release allows for quick access for clearing occasional jams. Amazon.com: This angle finish nailer is one of seven new heavy-duty air-powered nailers from the venerable Milwaukee, and the whole series is another testament to the red label's unflagging quality. Our first impression was how incredibly light this nailer is, and its compactness makes it a cinch to tote and use, especially in awkward positions and at the tail end of a long day of trim or floor installation. Still, it's a heavyweight in the power department, effortlessly driving 2-1/2" 15-gauge nails and, best of all, its reload indicator even alerts you when your magazine's nearly empty, preventing wasted firings. Loading more fasteners takes a couple of seconds at most, and that means more money in your pocket. Another big tip of the hat to Milwaukee for incorporating both sequential and bump firing modes, accessible just by turning a knob, so when speed is a need, you're ready to go, but precision is at your fingertips too. We like the quality built into this tool, from the magnesium housing and easily adjustable air deflector and muffler all the way down to small details like the sturdy belt hook. The removable non-marring nosepiece won't deface your work surface, and there's even a self-cleaning air filter in the tool handle, keeping dust and dirt out of the tool's workings - and that means longer tool life. In hand, this nailer feels great: light, comfortable, agile, beautifully balanced, and dare we say, fun to use. Tool-free depth adjustment is on-the-mark reliable, fast and easy. And should the nails jam, clearing is a snap with the tool-free jam release. Remodelers, contractors, cabinetmakers and the smart do-it-yourselfer will love this nailer.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste Amazon.com Product Description Milwaukee 34º, 15 gauge angle finish nailer features an ultra light weight magnesium housing that helps to minimize fatigue plus, its compact size offers greater maneuverability. My cheapo Harbor Freight gun has the safety built into the nose of the gun, allowing you to fire at an angle. Rating: - Another Quality Milwaukee ToolThis review is for the Milwaukee 7140-21 15 gauge Angled Finish Nailer. The package contents are: a plastic case, the 7140-21 nailer, a bottle of air tool oil(appears to be about 2 ounces), a pair of safety glasses, two allen wrenches (4mm and 5mm), a box of 1,000 2" 15 gauge bright finish nails, a warranty card, and the instruction manual. **This item does not come with a required 3/8" male air hose coupler, so make sure you pick one up. Or if you are like me pick up a ... Read More Rating: - 3 nail successReceived the nailer for what I thought was a fair price. Attached coupler (not provided & hard to find 3/8" MIP) and fired two nails in a piece of scrap to make certain gun was OK. Weeks later when I needed the nailer I got one nail in a piece of trim and the tool was inoperative. Customer service gave me a few ideas to try (none of which worked) and then told me to take to a factory authorized repair facility. That was over a week ago and have not heard from them. I gave it a One Star for the ... Read More Rating: - This is a steal! The other reviews are all true. This is a fine product. Just the right combination of light weight and durability. Very pleased with this sleeper among 15 GA nailers. Rating: - worth every pennyAfter seeing small contractor return cheaper model because it jammed over and over. I decided to buy Milwaukee. Works perfect every time. |
