![]() Rating: - For piece of mindWe bought an old house and were concerned with lead. This test was easy to perform and gave us piece of mind that our water was a-ok. Rating: - Simple and EffectiveThe First Alert Drinking Water Test Kit is exactly what it claims to be: a simple and effective way to monitor the healthfulness of your drinking water. Simple instructions, clearly labeled materials, and 15 minutes is all it took to get a report card on my well water. All clear! Rating: - Great test kit A quick and easy test of your basic water quality. Most results are immediate. The bacti test takes the usual 48hrs. I haul water and use a cistern. If any of the tests had come out suspect I would have contacted a water professional for analysis. Great basic test! Rating: - Good Little Test, Be Aware of What You're BuyingNo much news on the item, other than it tests as advertised and works fine. Be aware that this will tell you if you have particular things IN your water, not now much of those things you have. For that, you would need to order the kind of test that you send a sample of water to a lab. Rating: - I guess it works...No problems reported with the water so I suppose it works...lol. Its pretty simple to do but could be a little more user friendly. Just make sure you follow the directions. |
