 Rating:  - unexpectedI had gotten these on amazon ...glad they werent real expensive..throughout all of the descriptions it was never once mentioned that in tiny little print on the package that the wires contain lead and to wash your hands after every use. My child listens to her books on a cd player ..one of the reasons for this purchase..wouldnt recommend them. Rating: - A Good DealConsidering the price you pay for this item, you really can't complain. Sure, it's not the latest and greatest sounding headphones on the market, but for $5.00 this really is a good deal on a basic pair of headphones. I would recommend this pair for when you are out and about and don't want to risk damaging your nicer headphones. A good deal for the price you pay, but don't expect perfection. Rating: - good fit for my earsI have a problem with earbuds not fitting properly and causing discomfort, these though fit nice and are comfortable, the sound is great. Rating:  - Forget the jBuds - buy these!I just posted a review of the jBuds - basically of how they failed after 6 months. The wires inside the headphone plug became "loose" (but would work if you held the wire a certain way) and eventually stopped working altogether. I needed a replacement set of headphones, and was going to buy the jBuds again, but I saw that the Cobys were ranked #1 in earphones and noise-canceling earphones. Though the first review of the Cobys says "Go with the jBuds," I still felt compelled to read the other reviews: ... Read More Rating: - WOW for the pricesuprised to find a $5 colby headphone with such great sound. Nice bass, and nice depth. I just hope that it lasts for more than a few months. Been using it for a few weeks now...everywhere from walking around town to working out in the gym. Only complaint would be that the headphone jack or whatever you call it is in the "L" shape...not convenient if you're using it with small mp3 players like the new iPod nano, like me. |
