 Rating:  - Creative Power AdapterThis produce proved to be very helpful in that it frees up USB ports as well speeds the recharge time! Rating: - Charger that charges!What can I say? This charger charges. Great for traveling when you may not have easy access to a computer and kind of nice even when at home and you don't want your player dangling from your computer which has a tendency to go into sleep mode. Rating:  - Works as advertised ... but documentation from Creative ...... is BAD ! Nowhere I looked - when researching if I could use the adapter e.g. overseas - does it state the range of the input voltage for the adapter ! This is the same on Creative's AND on Amazon's websites. I would expect this info as part of the specification. Answer - found on the hard to read mini label on the adapter : Input : 100 - 240 VAC 50-60 Hz, Max 0.4 A, Output : 5 VDC 2.4A Rating: - It works as advertisedI bought this to replace the AC charger that came with my 60 GB Vision W. The original one never worked and by the time I got around to dealing with it (through Creative) it was way too late. Buggers. You'd think that spending nearly $400 for the Vision W it would have a working AC adapter. I mean, how complicated are they? Anyway, the one I ordered through Amazon works great, decent price (sharp drop from original price sheesh!) Rating: - Works great but a bit bulkyWould get 5 stars if smaller but otherwise does the job giving a quick charge from a regular outlet vs. USB on computer. |
