With a gizmo you assume, or hope it will talk to your child and teach them how to tell time. She likes to put the different shapes in the holes but isn't too interested in learning the time part of it. I have a 1 year old and she likes to get the pieces and put them all the way in her mouth so please beware around smaller children.
