I know there are some wireless VOIP phones, but I needed something I didn't need to recharge or lose in any room, the ringtone is loud enough to hear it in the second story while the computer is downstairs. I wasn't disappointed. The Philips VOIP 080 Skype phone has good voice quality and a clear microphone that does not distort. I recommend installing the latest Skype software version 3.8.0.115. It has features that improve the voice quality, eliminating echo and other distortions.
