 Rating:  - Blow by blowIf you don't mind the cord, this blower might actually blow fleas off your dog. I threw my Toro gas in the trash after I got this as it was always a pain to start. This thing blows much harder than the gas one too. I am happy with this. Rating: - Good buyI was originally looking for a gas blower so as not to have the cord issue. Upon reading other reviews I changed my mind and selected this Toro. It is easy to handle and has more power than I'll ever need or use. I have not used the vacuum option and might not since I purchased this solely for blowing grass and leaves off the driveway and deck. It turns out the cord is not a problem. Anyway I would recommend this to anyone in the market for a good blower. Rating:  - Good replacement...We chose this blower because of the metal impeller, as the impeller seems to be a vulnerable component of the unit when you're in vacuum mode -- especially when you're working among stones. So far, so good. Our last machine, also a Toro, lasted for years, so we're confident this will be durable. Rating: - hopefully as goodI had a Toro Blower/Vacuum for almost 11 years. It finally gave out and I purchased this Toro Ultra 12 #51599. I've used it twice and so far have found it quite satisfactory. It has enough power to blow over a tree! The real test will be after 1-2 years, where previous Toro's have not held up well. |
