Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Works
I bought the DicaPac WP300 about a year ago for a trip to Cozumel. As the instructions say, I tested it out ahead of time by putting some tissues in the pouch and submerging it under water to see if there were any leaks. It was fine, but I still was a bit cautious so I used my older Canon PowerShot S500 instead of my newer one.

I was impressed. It was a little tricky at times getting the lens to line up so that it didn't catch the side of the opening on the case (leaving a slightly ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Survived 3 days of snorkeling and a shark adventure
We just got back from Hawaii and this case survived 3 days of snorkeling and a shark adventure trip without letting in a drop of water. I'm glad that I got this instead of the hard plastic case which costs about 5 times more. During the snorkeling trips I used it mostly in shallow water with occasional dives to about 6-8 ft for closer shots and the case worked quite well. The shark adventure trip we went on was a good test as the sea was rough and we were being swept from one side of the cage to the ... Read More

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Waterproof but difficult to use, better off buying an Olympus 850 or better.
With a Canon SD-600, it very difficult to keep the camera's lens in the center of the Dicapac housing which results in most pictures of video capturing the rubber outter ring.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - good but fragile
This case fits both of my digital cameras (canon s410 and sd1000). It kept all the water and sand out and droplets on the lens were not a huge problem. I did have a few images that had a drop on them but that was because the camera came directly out of the water or it was raining on the lens. Many of the images had black marks that cut off 2 corners (bottom 2 or top 2) of the pictures because the camera lens wasn't in the exact center of the case lens. Not a big deal I just have to crop the image. ... Read More

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - flash issues
I took this product on a white water rafting trip with me and it worked well after i realized a few things and corrected them. There are a few issues buyers should be aware off.
1. Make sure you buy the right size pack for your camera, i bought a size one too big and it made it a little clumsy to use.
2. When you put your camera in the pack make sure you take off your camera strap, i found the strap got in the way of the lenses and since its enclosed in the pack, it was hard to move out ... Read More
