It is absolutly a marketing deal. In britian, it is the third in the line of Pippa Funnel game - called something like Golden Horseshoes. Pippa Funnel was the first, Champion Dreams was the second, and Horsez was the third. Champion Dreams and Horsez are much more related than the first (which, coincidently, I liked the most, becuase it was challenging but not impossible).
