Editorial Review: Product Description: Bring the peaceful serenity of a rainforest right to your baby's crib. The glowing waterfall has mesmerizing motion to help lull your little one to sleep. The water falls gently into a pool where there's a playful, bobbling fish and plenty of bubbles. A friendly monkey and frog play peek-a-boo in the leaves, ready to keep Baby company! The Peek-A-Boo Waterfall Soother lets you choose up to 18 minutes of classical music, lullabies, or rainforest sounds, with or without softly colored lights that pulse gently on and off. Includes power and volume controls. Attaches easily to any crib. Requires 4 "C" (LR14) alkaline batteries (not included). Measures 9.5" x 3.75" x 9.75". Amazon.com Product Reviews: Attach the Fisher-Price Rainforest Waterfall Peek-a-Boo Soother to baby's crib and use the critters and sounds of the rainforest to put baby in blissful slumber. The three modes are handy whether using the six minute music, lights, and bubbles setting, the 12 minute music and lights setting, or the 18 minute music only setting. The last is a coup for those putting baby back to sleep in the middle of the night. Each mode has three musical settings: rainforest sounds and classical music, rainforest and lullaby, and merely the sounds of the jungle. The three volume settings are useful, though it would be nice to have a daytime and nighttime setting for the lights, as they can be a bit bright. The special effects aren't Hollywood, but the smiling simian on the vine, the waterfall effect, and the peek-a-boo frog will have babies enthralled. Four C batteries are necessary, but not included. Recommended age is birth and up. --Scott Teal Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - Great productMy son loves the songs and the lights show. When I turn it on for him, he will stare at it until he sleeps. Rating: - Perfect in every way except...I ordered two of these while I was pregnant with twin boys. It came with batteries that actually worked for several months. My sons LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this soother! Imagine my dismay when I finally had to change the batteries to find that one of them had movement and light, but no sound! I called the help desk who said they couldn't help me, I had to call the Germany help desk where no one spoke English. They told me I had to mail in the soother for them to repair it. I plan to do that ... Read More Rating: - Lights very bright, moving parts squeakWe have many of the Rainforest products, and this is the only one I've been unhappy with. After the first battery change, the swinging animals started squeaking every time we turned it on. The waterfall lights are way too bright -- it's fine for naptime/daytime use, but we don't turn it on at night b/c my daughter flinches away from the brightness and it just wakes her up instead of soothing her back to sleep. Rating: - love itmy now 5 month old loves this toy even when he was 6 weeks old, he is amazed by the lights and movement. i gave it 4 starts cuz the water is already getting very low, i thought it would last much longer than a few months, i dont know whether you can fill it or not.. the little bubbles that come out of the fish's mouth will stop of course! Rating: - Very entertaining! And an excellent car toy :o)I bought this on a sudden whim when we were on vacation. We were driving around in the car a lot, something our baby (four months) REALLY doesn't like) and listening to him cry was beginning to wear me down. He loves it when I sing "Hush little baby" (you know, the mockingbird song) and when I saw that this soother played that tune, into my shopping basket it went. The straps at the back were easy to fasten around the seat headrest so he had something to look at from his car seat, and the minute ... Read More |
