The metal scratches easily and has shown significant wear in just 4 weeks. Still, the satin finish has remained intact. We used this band as my husband's wedding band. It has a really hip, casual look, and it is light and fits him perfectly. We saw it as a waste of money to buy a platinum or palladium band when this one looked great. We spent the money we would have spent on a ring on a new flat screen TV instead!
