![]() Rating: - Ubuntu is the best OS money CAN NOT getI just installed ubuntu, and im impresed. Its fast, easy to use, and install. It uses just the free space on your hard drive without touching windows at all. It comes loaded with apps, such as office soft, internet... all for free. And it has no virus, spyware... im shocked and i love it. Rating: - Linux For the WIndows User.Ubuntu is the easiest to use and install of the Linux systems I have tried. The only trouble i have seen is with the partitioner in some midsized disks. Rating: - An excellent place to beginThis book made the perfect complement to the Official Ubuntu book. The projects were useful and explained well, and covered a wide range of needs and interests. Rating: - There is a bit of a learning curve, but overall, it's great.I started out with Ubuntu because my laptop had a 64-bit architecture and my Windows was 32-bit. I was angry because if marketing funds are committed to touting a 64-bit system, shouldn't the operating system be 64-bit? I also saw what was coming down the road with Windows Genuine Advantage. With many other Windows users, I have experienced numerous strange lock-ups, freezes, crashes, and that infamous BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death).
