 Rating:  - safety issueThe potholder was very attractive and well made. However when used as a mitt the grasp on the pot is awkward,giving a slippery hold that is not a safe grip. The extra layer that the mitt provides is good for heat protection but not for an hand mitt. I would buy this product again for the points of attractivness and the high quality workmanship. Rating: - Nice potholder but Overpriced?I received the potholders today, and they are very nice. You can either fit your hand inside them, or use them as a double thickness pad/potholder. I couldn't imagine a design I would like better, and the material is wonderful. My only concern is that a tag attached by the manufacturer indicates the potholder is $2.99, and not the $4.xx I paid Amazon.com. They are thick and nicely sized. A little stiff but very good protection from hot pots and pans. Great value for the price.
