 Rating:  - a great radio for the carI've had a few satellite radios over the years and this is one of the best. Small size makes it perfect for a car, since you can detach it and easily take it with you. Great reception, great attachments, and a great all around product. Display is not as nice as some of the newer models, with color, album artwork, and more "lines" of information, but this is a portable radio, so you'll trade that stuff off for the small size. My problem is it lasted just over a year - then went dead. I think most electronics products should last at least a few years. I'll try another brand next. Never mind the other reviews complaining about "all of the wires!", it's an ACCESSORY UNIT meant to either transmit to a currently installed radio or plug into a tape deck. Of course there's going to be a bunch of wires, DUH! All one needs is about an hour, a little creativity, and some wire tucking skills, and this baby is ready to go (with minimal wires hanging around)! Easy to install and use-cant be beat. I use the 'sure connect' to listen and it sounds very clear...little if any static when going under overpasses etc... great buy. Rating:  - disappointedI have purchased two of these over the past 8 months. The first one worked great for about 6 months. All of a sudden, it decided it no longer wanted to turn on. I had liked it up to that point. I did get it to turn on and never turned it off. Well, that was short lived. I made the decision to purchase another one. As I said, I liked it. But after just one week, the same problem started. So I retutned it and got the Inno. Wow, do I love it! |
