 Rating:  - PS3 Owners need this remote.This remote works well for most of the Blu Ray functions. Not every button worked as expected but it works far better than the game controller. Shipping was prompt from Amazon as well. This is a Bluetooth remote so it uses radio frequency communication to deliver commands so line-of-sight is not needed to pause or forward Blu Ray movies. It even works from the other end of the house. This was worth every penny and is a must-have for any PS3 owner. Rating: - Must haveWatching Blu-ray movies with the PS3 game control was awful (It really sucked!). That's why I thought they might have a "DVD like" control, and they did!! What a difference, if you use your PS3 to watch Blue-Ray's you have to have this. PD Synchronizing the remote with the PS3 can be a little painful, but its worth. Rating:  - An Average RemoteThere is only a few remotes for the PS3, but this is the official one. You should get this one if you're buying a remote. I didn't like the package since you had to cut around it. The nice thing was that it already comes with batteries. Although the batteries are cheap. The remote itself is pretty good. It is made with quality plastic on the top. It has every control you need. One thing that annoyed me is that you have to register it first. Also, I think $20 for a remote is a little expensive. ... It's mediocre at best, but it serves the simple purpose of not having to fumble around with the game control console to view Blu-ray on the PS3, which I hated doing. Rating: - Sony PS3 Blu Ray remote...Sony's PS3 Blu Ray remote works great with my PS3. I can turn my PS3 on and off with the remote just like I can with the sixaxis controller. It's easy to navigate Blu Ray movies on my PS3 now. |
