(Cel phone lines were extremely erratic the first couple of hours after the quake). Read More Rating: - works well enough, but range limitedThe radios worked as expected. I like that the batteries are Li ion and I don't have to fully deplete them before re-charging. I assumed that the advertised range of 20 miles was exaggerated and it was; 2 miles through thick woods was about the limit. Rating: - Compare Battery CapacityThe Cobra LI5600 has a 650 mAh battery. The Cobra LI6700 has a 950 mAh battery. Rating: - Great ProductMy wife and I purchased the raidos so that we could communcate back and fourth while I was pulling our trailer and she was pulling our boat. It work great with the exception when you get out of line of site, but thats for most of the raidos. Otherwise when I was on the lake fishing we were able to chat and I could tell her all the big fish I was catching. It works well and easy to operate. I'm very impressed with the Cobra LI5600, and have 4 pairs of radios to compare them to. My first impression was the sound quality, it doesn't sound like a tin can, and is plenty loud. It's very compact, and is only slightly thicker than a cell phone. In fact, I use a cell phone holster to carry it. Unfortunately the belt clip looks fragile, but could do the job.
