![]() Rating: - The Worst!!The bags caused most produce and fruits to actually spoil MORE QUICKLY than I have ever had them spoil. The bags were just OK for lettuce. Bell peppers turned to mush faster than I've ever seen before. Cabbage turned black from the inside out. I've never seen that happen before. Never buy these things. Rating: - wasted money on bags and lost expensive produceDon't waste your money. I bought a different "green bag" several years ago at Whole Foods and really liked them because they worked! Those bags are now gone and saw Debbie Meyers bags so decided to buy them. My tomoatoes ROTTED and became MOLDY within a couple of days...Banana's didn't rippen well... the moisture that collects in the bags is gross. I do not recommend this brand of "green bag." Rating: - Waste of money - don't buy this productUsed the bags as directed and was EXTERMELY disappointed. My salad mix was spoiled in 3 days, bananas had spots in 4 days, and strawberries were covered in green fuzz after 7 days. No wonder there's no product satisfaction information on the box, they'd go broke issuing refunds. Don't buy this product. Rating: - Pretty satisfiedI find these bags pretty good at keeping produce fresher longer. The key is to make sure the veggies are as dry as possible before placing them in the bags, per the directions. I'm happy with this purchase. Rating: - Beware! Bags keep in moisture and rot the food!!I can't understand any positive reviews about this product. I bought three different brands of these bags, including this one, and the fruits and vegetables go bad QUICKER when you use them! The reason being there are no holes to release the moisture.... so moisture builds up in the "air tight" container, which is now "water tight", and the moisture and makes the food rot. I don't wash them first, I DO dry them with papertowels first. Is there some sort of secret to it??? |
