Editorial Review:

Product Description:
Help preserve the freshness and prolong the life of fruits, vegetables, and cut flowers with these revolutionary storage bags. As they absorb ethylene gas from ripening fruits and vegetables, they also breathe, prevent moisture formation, control humidity, and help filter out ultraviolet light. Set includes 20 medium bags, 20 large bags, and 10 supersized bags.

Customer Reviews
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - The Worst!!
The bags caused most produce and fruits to actually spoil MORE QUICKLY than I have ever had them spoil. The bags were just OK for lettuce. Bell peppers turned to mush faster than I've ever seen before. Cabbage turned black from the inside out. I've never seen that happen before. Never buy these things.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - wasted money on bags and lost expensive produce
Don't waste your money. I bought a different "green bag" several years ago at Whole Foods and really liked them because they worked! Those bags are now gone and saw Debbie Meyers bags so decided to buy them. My tomoatoes ROTTED and became MOLDY within a couple of days...Banana's didn't rippen well... the moisture that collects in the bags is gross. I do not recommend this brand of "green bag."

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Waste of money - don't buy this product
Used the bags as directed and was EXTERMELY disappointed. My salad mix was spoiled in 3 days, bananas had spots in 4 days, and strawberries were covered in green fuzz after 7 days. No wonder there's no product satisfaction information on the box, they'd go broke issuing refunds.

Don't buy this product.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Pretty satisfied
I find these bags pretty good at keeping produce fresher longer. The key is to make sure the veggies are as dry as possible before placing them in the bags, per the directions. I'm happy with this purchase.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Beware! Bags keep in moisture and rot the food!!
I can't understand any positive reviews about this product. I bought three different brands of these bags, including this one, and the fruits and vegetables go bad QUICKER when you use them! The reason being there are no holes to release the moisture.... so moisture builds up in the "air tight" container, which is now "water tight", and the moisture and makes the food rot. I don't wash them first, I DO dry them with papertowels first. Is there some sort of secret to it???
